Synopsis
"Is it a miracle of an instant or an eternity of curse?"
One day, Korean cultural critic "K" invites "M(who is the audience)" to his house to share his concerns.
He asks about the life of Baek Sung-soo, a genius musician he is taking care of.
And as M chooses something, then K's behavior changes.
Through that choice, the play changes from the line of K or to the end of the play.
And this soon awakens the real selves of Baek Sung-soo, who simultaneously lost his fviolence instinct and genius.
Director's Note
It was selected as one of the <2022 five new Korean directing appliances> and
It was final list of <the ARKO Next Generation in Interdisciplinary art> in 2021.
The difference from 2019 ver. is that when a new character appears on the stage.
Based on the form of the Voting show, the audience votes in real time through the remote control during the performance.
It was completed in the form of changing the dialogue, progress structure, and ending of the play according to the voting value.
Through this, it was possible to convey the question that had been continuously asked,
"the boundary between the artist's humanity and creativeness."
For the effective delivery of the message,
"M" in the work was set as the audience, and the actor constantly communicated with the audience.
